Basic Level Certification & Refresher

June 15, 2026 | In-Person and Virtual

4 PM - 9 PM (CST)

Starting with the Basic Level, each of the five units of the Nan Giordano Certification Program® (NGCP®) has it's own curriculum and will be taught in seperate certification workshops. Participants will be given teaching materials to enhance their learning and mastery of this complex and joyous art form. In order to become a certified teacher of the Giordano Technique, one must train with Nan Giordano.

The structure of the Basic Level has three components organized into three equal 20-minute segments (20/20/20): Pre-Stretch, Floorwork, and Across the Floor.

Beginning Level Certification & Refresher

June 16, 2026 | In-Person and Virtual

4 PM - 9 PM (CST)

As you progress from the Basic to the Beginning Level of this foundational dance technique, the pacing of the class, the complexity of the movement, and the increased focus on style become more challenging yet even more enjoyable.

The structure of the Beginning Level differs from the prior Basic Level as it adds more complexity and has four components which divide the class into two segments of 15 minutes, one segment of 10 minutes, and one segment of 20 minutes (15/15/10/20): Pre-Stretch, Floorwork, Center, Across the Floor.

Intermediate Level Certification & Refresher

June 17, 2026 | In-Person and Virtual

As you take on the rigors and magnified complexity of the Intermediate Level, the pacing of the class, attention to style, and a deep commitment to strengthening the whole body all increase.

Like the Beginning Level before it, the structure of the Intermediate Level continues to add complexity and increased energy. This level also has four components which divide the class into two segments of 15 minutes, one segment of 10 minutes, and one segment of 20 minutes (15/15/10/20): Pre-Stretch, Floorwork, Center/At the Barre, and Across the Floor.

Advanced Level Certification & Refresher

June 18, 2026 | In-Person and Virtual

4 PM - 9 PM (CST)

As you immerse yourself fully in the complexities and demands of the Advanced Level, you'll see that the pacing of the class, layering together of combinations, and enhanced attention to style continue to take increasing immediacy.

Unlike the three levels prior, however, the structure of the Advanced Level has been increased to 75 minutes in duration (15 minutes longer than other levels) to give the time needed for mastery of content. Further, this level has five components (one more than other levels): Pre-Stretch, Floorwork, Center/At the Barre, Across the Floor, and Combinations.

Professional Level Certification & Refresher

June 19, 2026 | In-Person and Virtual

4 PM - 9 PM (CST)

"We have structured the Professional Level of the Giordano Technique to be quite different than the four prior levels. In the past, we focused heavily on the building blocks of the Giordano Technique; now it is time to implement those tools and literally put them into motion. This material was selected from my Father's classic works for the combinations that make up the Professional Level. Each combination makes my heart sing as the material woven from my father's unbelievable legacy is blended with learnings from the current day. We hope you enjoy exploring and teaching this newly-structured level as much as we did formulate it." -Nan Giordano

Zoom credentials and NGCP® notes will be emailed to you at least one week prior to certification. We recommend printing the notes so you can follow along throughout the certification.
